I have for sale quantity 2 - 1.5TB Seagate FreeAgent Desk External USB 2.0 hard drives New in Box sealed. These have a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. Seems they are selling around the $140 mark shipped on Ebay.

Asking $125 shipped CONUS. Paypal add 3%.

Dang. I need 2 USB External Drives in the 500GB range for a backup application I'm installing for a client, but the budget he's set isn't quite high enough for these beauties.

The 1.5T silver seagate version has a lot of problems, and is rated very low at new eggs, or buy.com, or everywhere. It hurts Seagate's reputation a lot. Wondering what version this is...

Thanks, nice thread crapping from a newbie. Not sure what version these are but a 5 year manufacturers warranty does stand behind these.

What color is the case? There are 2 versions with black and silver cases.

Thanx, that is the same model that I bought at Costco. I read the reviews on this model that were posted. I'll keep what I have.
