Still the baddest dude on the planet. F Dana for not giving up a little money and control so we could see him school Brock.

That punch to his nose, which would have ended it for most, only seemed to wake the skilled monster inside.
It was interesting that once the fight is over he appears as a soft spoken and religious man with an underwhelming physique. Not at all scary or even really tough looking.
Wonder if Vinny Mac will sign him up for a special Wrestlemania match vs the Undertaker.
Might be a good draw.

My wife was watching it with me and I was telling her how much of a BAMF he was, she just looked at me strange.....until he KO'd Rogers.:D He's the perfect assassin, totally unsuspecting yet has uncompromising ability to end a fight at any time.

First time that I've seen him fight and wow! His punches are so quick that it's hard to believe that he's as big as he is. Would have been nice if Rogers would have had a little more class though. He seemed to think he should have won because he had a chance in the first round, but he didn't win so he should just shut it. Good fight to watch though for sure.

Truly an action packed match. Broken nose in the first minute, survived the first round, then round two...BAM. Awesome fight!

Rodgers simply "misunderestimated" "the Emperor".
I noted that Fedor said that he looked for his opponent's weakness by watching his footwork.
Perhaps it explains why he got his nose broken.

I would describe Fedor as a "Mike Tyson with brains".
He conducts the fight like a chess match, as the commentators noted, however I doubt Rodgers could play a good game of checkers. He was simply brute force.

Rodgers was sort of a dickhead afterwards too. No respect.

Absolutely right. If the referee hadn't stopped it, Rodgers may have not been able to speak afterwards.
He needs to watch the replay. He didn't know what hit him and was pretty much defenseless.
Fedor was on him like a skark, until the ref mercifully stopped it.

I'm fairly certain that my head would be rolling around somewhere if either one of those guys hit me. It was an entertaining fight to watch nonetheless.

I love how even though he connected on the punch, he still almost fell over from the momentum. Insane punch from by far the best fighter in the world. He's a tank! The thing I love about him is if you watch his fights, he's a chameleon. However you come at him, he uses it against you to make you hurt. The harder you come at him, the harder he comes. You want to play it easy and tactical, he'll turn you into a sack of potatoes. Absolutely love Fedor.

But then all the UFC only (and WWE) fans all say "Brock! Brock! Fight Brock!" Sorry guys but to put a guy like Fedor against Brock is an insult IMO. Brock isn't anywhere near the level of fighter but he does have the size. Ask the 7'4 Chinese guy about Fedor. haha. Brock is a hell of a fighter, fast as hell for his size and a great wrestler but still, this is Fedor we're talking about. Sure if Dana would fork up the bucks, it would be a fun fight to watch Brock get dominated but what would Dana get out of it? Fedor would require too much money to stay with the UFC and Dana is too tight with his money to keep that level of fighter under the UFC umbrella. So then Fedor would kill Brock and run. I don't blame him either.

So anyone ready for Kimbo Slice vs. Houston Alexander? That is going to be a great fight!

Most fighters would also been out cold from that ground and pound Rodgers delivered. Simply amazing from Fedor, he certainly does not suffer from glass jaw. Rodgers needs to take some boxing lessons as well, he does not protect himself very well as noted from his hands hanging so low all the time.

Dude, Fedor wanted control of half the UFC. He demands the impossible because he doesn't want to fight in the UFC in my humble .02. It's sad, Fedor and Brock will probably never fight unless Brock jumps ship....and that aint gonna happen.

I don't think Fedor wanted control of half of the entire UFC, he just wanted his company M1) to co-promote the fights he was in. Dana has successfully kept other fighters from gaining more control and I don't think he wants to start a precedent here. From a business standpoint I don't know that I blame him, although that matchup would certainly sell exceedingly well. But from a fan standpoint it's disappointing.
