Ok, so this is a bit of a continuation of a thread I posted a few days ago:

http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90819

Anyway, long story short... I bid on an RM85 set up and won, but I'm worried I may have jumped the gun a little. The RM85 isn't the set up I really wanted, but I won the bid at a good price. From what I have been able to find out, I would have liked an RM10 pack better and definitely a RM20 pack better. My reasoning being the RM10/20 has a larger mid in them and better enclosures. Also the RM85 doesn't have the threaded inserts on the back, which will cause me some mounting issues given my current mounts and the way I want to face the speakers. My question is: Should I just turn around and sell the RM85 set here or on CL, and wait until I can catch an RM10/20 5 pack at a good price? Am I just being to picky when the RM85 may be just fine for me? Thanks for putting up with my stupid questions:o

I understand the speakers I'm asking about all fall in the "lower" category of cool and good, but I don't have the option for any other type of set up for HT, and don't have the budget for much better. This will all be paired with a PSW505 by the way. Maybe I'm being too nit picky or have a case of retail remorse, LOL! What do you guys think? Thanks for putting up with my stupid questions:o

After you get the set and listen to them your ears will tell you what you need to do...

turn around and sell them again on Ebay if you don't like em.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'll just have to wait until I get them in my hands to figure out if I can solve the mounting problem. I'm still not sure how I'm going to want to angle the rm8 sats for them to sound "right":o I have no doubt the sound will be an improvement over my current speakers, but I'm not sure what to think about the plastic enclosures, lol! I will cross that bridge when I get them. That is if I can manage to figure out a solution for fedex's signature requirements. That's why I like UPS better, I can leave them a note, and they'll leave it. I will makes sure and give my thoughts after I get it all set up. Thanks guys!
