Gentlemen,

Those of you familiar with my posts on this particular board will recognize many of the items I will be listing. To be as foward as I possibly can, audio has taken a back-seat anymore, and I need to bring in some cash for priorities. Will keep the prices at what I deem to be, fair and honest.... will keep this open for a week before I take this stuff to ebay or other places. Will post pictures upon request..

FIRST ITEM:

MIT Terminator 4 (8-foot pair) speaker cable's. They work great, no cosmetic flaws that I can see. Terminated via: screw tip's.

This is good entry level wire from MIT, perfect to serve as a standard of comparison between bulk wire, DIY projects and even the expensive stuff.

I am asking $55 for the pair. This price includes shipping (ups ground).

SECOND ITEM:

Tributaries (2m) "Y" sub-woofer cable. I do not have the original packaging, but this cable is brand new, only about two weeks old. Works fine - is in brand new condition...

This would be a great cable to run from your LFE on your reciever to the audio in/outs on the back of your sub.

I am asking $35 for this cable. This price includes shipping (ups ground).

THIRD ITEM:

Monster Z2 Bi-wire. (15-foot pair). In perfect, brand new condition. They come with the original case. Function perfectly. Terminated with Hook's speaker end, and spades amp end.

Great entry level bi-wire, perfect for LSi's, or any other speaker which incorperates the bi-wiring capability.

I am asking $125 for the pair. This price includes shipping (ups ground).

FOURTH ITEM:

JVC rx6010v Audio/Video reciever. Functions perfectly. Cosmetically is in ok condition. The top of the unit bears a few scratch marks, nothing serious however.

This is the perfect unit for a garage set-up, a bed-room set or anything of that nature. Incredibly powerfull and clean for the price, I strongly encourage this unit to be used for two-channel listening.

It sports the usual: cd/tape/vcr/dvd/tv outputs. video outputs. FM/AM... dvd digital out, cd digital in, sub-woofer channel (lfe). I have the controller, manual, am/fm antenna's and will even throw in your typical rat shack audio interconnects.

I am asking $130.00 for this reciever. This price includes shipping (ups ground).

FIFTH ITEM:

A Pair of SDA 2B's. I do not expect anyone to leap on this deal, considering that I will only do this sale via: on location pick-up.

Most of you are familiar with these speakers. The ones I have now function well. All drivers appear to be in-tact. Cosmetically, these things have seen better days. Could use a bit of patchwork, but nothing so serious as to take away from its over-all appearance.

I am not the original owner, but can say from my experience, that you will be hard pressed to find any speaker for the price, which can image so well, and provide you with a sense of realism and truth to the music. In my opinion, they suprass even the vaunted LSi's in this aspect.

These also come with Har's custom built SDA interconnect. There is a nagging issue with the amp becoming incredibly warm when this interconnect is plugged in, that issue is being investigated.

My asking price, will be what I payed for them. $250.00 for the pair. Any SDA owners can tell you - its damned near impossible to find this type of sound anywhere, for that price.

There are all the items I have available that are up for grabs. This is on a first-come, first serve basis. For any questions or inqueries, simply respond here and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

Once again - These offer's will expire in one week.

Thanks,

Sean

Sorry Sean. If I lived closer I'd be putting a tarp over the back of the pick-up truck.

For anybody interested in any of the above items, let me just say that I've had a few dealings with Sean and they have all been great. Well packaged and communicated throughout.

Good luck buddy!

Not that I am interested in the 2B's, but you might want to give those not in the know an idea of your general whereabouts...

ATC,

What I need to find out is if the one's that a friend of mine has are the locking pins as compared to the hardwired model like yours. I like the versatility of the switchable ends, but not enough to pay an insane amount more. I don't know if I'm just seeing it weird, but those spade ends don't look big enough for the speaker end. Still if you could post close up pics of the amp end, I'd appreciate it. I hate it when a company does several different tweeks to the same model and calls it all the same........grrrrrrrr...

Brett,

Rest assured, the spades can fit on the binding posts (ala-lsi-9). However, I should be able to take the pics this evening, and post them on the boards.

I too absolutely despise the way a company will create roughly 20 versions of one product and not differentiate between one or the other..... Ah well..

Man, what crap is this! I seem to be unable to take any good pics of the spades. Every photo simply has not turned out! Sorry bud, the best I have mustered (which isnt much)...

The blades are about half an inch wide(each)

does it fit LSi binding post, Sean? I had to end up with Analysis Plus oversize spade to fit around LSi binding post...

Zero
04-17-2003, 09:30 PM
Here is the scoop with the blades.

They wont fit all the way around the LSi binding posts, but they will stick if you put them in until the center notch. Not exactly the most secure and ideal fit, but they do - fit.

However, I am a bit lost as to why them fitting around speaker posts would be an issue if this is an amp-end spade?

Sean, I wasn't even aware that this is the amp side, I guess I was just looking at the picture and assume it is for the speaker end. My mistake, sorry chief!

Just to follow up on this thread.

These cables are beginning to take up their fair share of space, and I have been completely unable to get this ebay shit working out..... so here it goes.

The SDA2B's are still up for grabs, same conditions apply.

The JVC has been put on comp duty and has found its way back into my collection.

The MonsterZ2 bi-wire is in "sale-pending" condition. If the sale does not go through, I will part with it for 100 bucks - shipped to your home (provided you live in the lower 48 states and will agree to ups ground).

The MIT 4 Terminator wire, I will go as low as 45 bucks, shipped. Same conditions apply (read monster Z2).

And lastly, the Tributaries, I will hang on to. You never know when you will need an LFE cable.
