I have recently purchased a Surround Bar 360. Can I connect the soundbar to my Onkyo receiver? The receiver is used to connect a TV, DVD, Dishnetwork, etc.
The surround bar works fine when I plug in the items individually but I am not getting any sound when it is plugged into the receiver.

It seems the soundbar made in China having some SQ issue.
I received a new SDA 360 one from Newegg that have " input" issue. Fm radio and DVD playing are fine but TV input using either RCA or Optical is not working right. TV sound was cut on and off with statics.
I cannot returned to Newegg, so hopefully Polk Audio will honor for a new replacement. Will see how these folks from Polk Audio handle customer service?

+1 Mark, Polks CS is second to none and many people here can attest to that. Give them a call and explain your situation, I'm sure you will be pleased by the outcome.

I did. There is no rules NOT to share my experience with the OP who also has some issue with the SB 360. If there are some complaints, the future buyers will need to know to avoid the same mistake. Caveat Emptor.

Ooooooo, fancy words, lol. Why not just say buyer beware? We don't want no trouble in here, not in any language. :D

Any line of products form any manufacture will have some issue and the manufacture and consumers need to be aware of. That does not mean to shoot down a nice product or a manufacture. For example, there are abt 100 Pio bdp51fd units in North America having some issue and Pioneer is aware of the issue thru consumers' complaints. I owned 2 of the units that do not belong to the defective batch of production, I bought the Pio bdp51fd with the knowledge that certain range of serial numbers are defective and others are not.
It's a two way communication that is benefitial to both the manufactures and the consumers. That's it all abt.
