Are all DVD's being released on Fridays now? I was just wondering because I was looking forward to getting Harry Potter.

No - most all DVDs are still being released on Tuesdays - Harry Potter is the exception.

Two or three times a year - your big sellers will come out on Friday. (PayDay) Get that extra boost in sales.
But pretty much NOTHING came out today for new movie dvd's.
That may have thrown ya.

actuley it is a hype thing like they release movies to theaters on friday also they are releaseing it to video on friday to get a better selling. also it will proabley be on sale less just the weekend instead of the whole week.
