What do you all think about Tripp Lites Isobar protectors? I'm thinking about getting one (staged filtering is nice).

Second, what, if anything can you tell me about a Luxman R-1030 and/or a Technics SL-QD33 (has a Shure cartridge).

No takers? I hit up google and found the specs on the Luxman, but nothing tells me about the sound quality.
