This is what I have so far:
Yamaha RX-765
Monitor 70 for front
CS2 for center
OWM3 for surround.
which sub best suits this setup?
Room size is 16x12 feet.
Thanks!

Micropro 1k :D
Honestly though, what's your budget and what kind of use will this sub see?
50/50 ht/music? Could check out a PSW505 if you're more into HT but I think in that small area the micropro would be fine plus it's an excellent sub for music.

mostly HT and TV viewing. 20% music. trying to keep cost low.. adding the tv/rec/dvd is already too expensive of an upgrade ;)

I'd build him a beast of a sub. You know Chris (cstmar) loves that thing right? But that's on a whole different level :p
What's the budget you are working with?

Since I am getting the same front and center as the OP, what used subs would you suggest? I was looking at the PSW505, but if my money (and maybe the OP's too) will go further why not go used. The only thing is there are lots of brands!

I sold my Klipsch RW-10D for around there, might have been cheaper, and i have no doubts it would make the PSW505 cry uncle.
I'll suggest my normal suggestions, and let everyone else go with the other stuff:
There's some Velodyne subs in that realm on the used market, but i'm not familiar with their models.
Klipsch RW-10D
Mirage Omni S10/S12
I've heard the above, owned the above, and they're very capable for that price point.
What size room are you trying to fill, though?

Do the DSW micro/regular series make sense to pair with the monitor 70/CS2 or is the PSW125 a better choice?
Mainly HT with 20% music use.

I don't know how much power you are looking for, but this is the sub I have, and for the price ($99 new free shipping) you really can't go wrong. I'm very happy with it.
Polk Audio PSW10- this sub is also matched with the monitor series, so should integrate well with your M70's.

A 505 would be brutal in a room that size! You can get it for $250 with free shipping, and it's new, so you get the legendary Polk CS to go with it! I love the micropro, but I think the 505 would be more your speed since it would be mostly HT:) I don't know if fry's still has that sale going on for the micropro 1000 or not, but if so, it's definitely worth a look for $270. Good luck:)
250 is a tight budget..with your room the PSW505 will do fine..and since you're mostly a HT man the fact that it's not the most musical of subs should present NO problem..it will be plenty loud in such a small room.....
You can also think about the Boston HPS12HO which is selling for almost nothing....and matches the PSW505 quite well...probably even a bit better. It's not a sub for finesse..it's a 300 watt/600 peak 12" that didn't sell well mostly because of its ODD appearance--and is now a discontinued model....but it can bang out HT LFEs loudly enough! It you're looking to go cheap...this might do you....

I would also recommend the PSW505, for the price it is going for these days at the egg, it is hard to beat it.

The PSW505 is about as good as you're going to get for what you want, new.

there is a $20 off for the PSWS505 @ newegg and combined with the paypal 10% off its turning out to be ~200. Ordered mine!
