I hope so. The quality of the movies based on Crichton's books is average at best. His movies in the 70's (Andromeda Strain, Terminal Man and The Great Train Robbery) were fair. Jurassic Park and The Lost World were excellent. Rising Sun and 13th Warrior (Eaters of The Dead) were OK. Sphere, Disclosure and Congo were terrible. I am a big fan of his books and Timeline has the potential to be up there with Jurassic Park if they do it right.
