This is from the Carver forum, since there are quite a few Carver gear owners here,I thought that this might be appropriate,,I am familar with their work,and can say that it is very good.

Thanks for posting that George. I've not been over to the Carver site for awhile. My bulbs blew on my 45 last night and I think I heard some artifacts on the left. Looks like I better book a trip to Rita in a hurry.

They repaired/replaced some caps in my brothers TFM 45,,quite reasonable,,and did a very good job,,plus they communicated their findings and approx cost to him before repair.I just feel that whenever possible we need to support businesses such as this,they provide a "personalized" reputable service,,and are a dying breed,,LOL,,just means I'm getting older.

While I have never used Rita I do not want to see her close her door. We need the competition and people to keep repairing these amps.

Ron, lemme know if u want the bulbs. I have couple of them..That would be very cool...listening today I couldn't detect any problems with the amp...course it was Xmas music at low volume...after a couple of weeks 24/7, I'm about to shoot myself.:eek:
