New Pirates of the Caribbean film in the works. I enjoyed the first 3 and dig Depp's character as Captain Jack Sparrow. Here's some news on the new film.

According to the http://inyourface.freedomblogging.com/2010/03/22/disney-bans-breast-implants-in-pirates/16141/ , both Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom will not be returning. One rumor is that Penelope Cruz will be replacing Keira. Sorry Disney but that just won't work. What a bummer.

Just got back from seeing this and it is easily my favorite of the lot next to #1, in fact, it's almost near as good. But the first had so much from the ride it's tough to beat just for that aspect. This one was very enjoyable and went very quick, didn't at all feel like a near 2.5 hour film. I didn't even miss Kiera or Orlando either and thought Cruz fit in perfectly. Fantastic film!

Can't wait for #5 and hopefully they get Tim Burton to direct.

That's cool Ron. I want to go see it, but doubt I'd be comfortable sitting for that long since I'm still healing. This will most likely be a blu-ray buy for me when it's released. Looking forward to it.

FINALLY! Got to see it the day before it goes out of theaters in this area. Last showing of the day too.

I don't care how silly previous plot devices were or how lame anyone thought they were. These movies are just FUN! And Penelope Cruz in pirate garb doesn't hurt the eyes either!

But yeah, this was fun and if you didn't see it in the theaters, well, your loss. Definitely getting it on DVD or Blu-Ray when it comes out. If I have a Blu-Ray player by then.

There is a 5 and a 6 in the works but Depp has yet to sign on. Apparently, he wants the movie to be worth while. He doesn't want to disappoint. Since he's the franchise, Disney and Bruckheimer should be listening to him. I hope there is a 5 and a 6. I don't even see them as sequels. The movies can stand on their own. The inter-related plot lines just add to the fun! Helps to catch stuff peppered throughout the flick too. Stuff you wouldn't necessarily get if you hadn't seen the first 3.

The best part about the movies? They make you feel like a kid again!
