Polkie Jazz head,
Got to check this guy out, Peter Cincotti, 22 years old amazing jazz pianist with a very decent voice...There are two tracks in particular that high on my list, for a lazy sunday afternoon pub mood: Sway and Ain't misbehavin' - very soothing...

A definite two thumbs up!

*piano bar, cigar, and cognac - life is good*

Does Coors Light and a shot of Jack count? ;)

never really did get a taste for cognac. A good port will work though

yes, Chris, a good port is definitely can be as lethal as cognac...

Btw, this is a Concord Records production, top notch quality. I have the redbook and it sounds great, well balanced, plenty of dynamics...

polkatese,

i checked Peter Cincotti out.. lovely stuff. really pleasant to listen to on those days when rock is just TOO much for your mood. He's smooth alright. Kind of reminds me of Harry Connick Jr.

thanks.. i need some new music to check out. and Peters music would be a good addition to my collection.

db,
Indeed, I was an early fan of Harry back in the early 90's (When Harry Met Sally Soundtrack), not too crazy with his later works...Glad you like it!
