Jeff at sonic craft gave a great one time 35% discount on the furutech FP-314ag power cable so I bought two 4ft runs as well as a pair of the FI-11ag IEC plugs and a pair of FI-11cu male plugs.(20% off on the plugs).
What I need to know is do I only connect the shield(braid)at the IEC end as I have seen on the VH Audio site?? I would like to know to further my understanding of proper shielding of power cords for digital gear.:o
Why only the IEC end ?
Why not both ends ?

What did he tell you. I have bought all of the stuff needed for my PC for him. I have used his info to build them. Anything different?

To just connect the shield(braid)at the IEC end.
And I have to say that the furutech FP314AG terminated with the FI-11Mcu/FI-11AG sounds damn good.(I used them to run my pc for few days to break them in.)
