I've come to understand that audio is pretty subjective. If you question something, with or without the numbers, than I think you owe it to yourself (and your system) to at least give it a whirl. For me at least, that's part of the fun.

It's truly is a journey!

I dont think there is any one in these 9 pages that upgraded from a stock pc to a pangea ac-9 that did not hear a improvement. So that should be evidence enough.

Or upgrade to an AC-12, or AC-12SE. If you cannot hear a difference either the gear is weak, or the hearing is defective.

I upgraded all my cables one at a time and I must say there were a few components with which the upgrade made no difference. Its been awhile so I forget which was which. I finally changed over to all AC-9's and got some benifit with that as well. These are awesome cables for sure.

And for the price it's a no brainer IMO!!!:cool: My system is complete with Pangea as well..

Indeed, it's a fun journey filled with wonderful discoveries. Nothing like trying it out for yourself, if you are curious enough. Let your ears be the judge. Get a preowned one. If you don't like it, you can easily sell it.

Well I guess nobody can give me any real evidence, probably can't explain how keeping speaker wires off the floor with spacers can improve the "detail and imaging" either. People have also stated that audio cables have a break in period too. I'm really too skeptical I guess.

You can be skeptical which is fine, but let others enjoy their systems and upgrades. It's no skin off your back if Conradicles or anyone else changed power cords and liked it...

Oh yeah, the thread that cost me over a thousand bucks... I saw those but I think I'm happy enough with the AC9's. I read recently that the wire guage is 8 awg, not 9 like originally advertised, just a fyi.

I used to have my Oppo plugged into my Pangea AC-9 and loved it. Then just for kicks I tried out an AC-14SE on the Oppo and holy crap! It added a new level of clarity and resolution. I just ordered another one to put on my Modwright power supply. So this last one puts the total to 2- AC-9's and 2 AC-14SE's.

The AC-14SE's are highly recommended for source equipment.
