My sweet Georgia Brown! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100411/ap_on_en_tv/us_obit_dixie_carter

When every one else stands for nothing, with a flick of your hair and a wink you can put the most unruley person in their true place.

"we don't put our crazy folk in back rooms like the Yankees, we put'em right out on the front porch in a rockin' chair, and when passers by ask us which side of the family they get it from"....."we say both"......God Speed, God Bless! H'otel Baltimore would have been lost without you...

Dixie was a good one. May she rest in peace. That whole group from Designing Women were sweethearts. I worked with Jean Smart when I played an extra in Sweet Home Alabama and talked to her a good bit. I imagine that Dixie had the same Southern charm.

The Designing Women were incredibly gracious to me every time I was on set...

Rest well Ms. Carter.
