  1. There's really not too many tricks. I had been experimenting with how to improve my HT bass and not po the neighbors in my apt building. The great people at SVS said to stop thinking small and realize that I needed a lot of air to move at low volume, which takes more surface area for the sub-woofer drivers. So I went with the SVS 20-39 PC+ and used the Polk PSW505 I had as the rear sub. I then sold the 505 when SVS released their PB-10NSD. I've just been experimenting with volume and phase setting and after a lot of experimenting have it dialed in so it works. The trick is to keep working with the settings.
