Well to be honest I have been preparing for this lowsy economy. That's one of the main reasons I haven't bought any new gear even though throughout the summer there had been some killer deals. No one expects to get laid off but I took the job at a precarious time for the company so I kept putting rainy day money away in case.

Right now I'm not going to put pressure on myself and I'm going to enjoy the Holidays. Friday night is still on I think..........my buddy owns his own business (he a jeweler)might bail on us as he swamped.

We can still go but I was hoping he'd sit in on drums and play with Pete. He won't be able to let me know until the last minute. Again no reason we can't go. Pete will be playing other dates in Dec and Jan '09 too.

I'll be in touch with details as that is a very busy day for me. I have a few afternoon parties to go to and a good friend of mine is passing through town and she wants to try and grab lunch on her way up to Madison for the Holidays.

The show starts about 9ish, I'll be in touch

Brock, sorry to hear about your layoff. Glad to hear you are thinking positive...we are surrounded by so much gloom and doom lately.

I missed the fun Tuesday night with a sick day. Really was, had some 24 hour bug. No way I could make a near two-three hour estimated drive to work in those road conditions without a loo being handy. Dear wife had a 3 hour drive home from the north burbs.

I bought a pair of Polk 7a's from Noel. It is sad that he remains out of work and must sell things off once again. Now I gotta plan to get out that way. I'll need good weather as it is ~ a 4 hour drive.

Rich - when do you plan to make the road trip to Noel's? If I'm available and you want company let me know.

I bought a Richard Thompson - Some Enchanted Evening MFSL 45rpm LP at Music Direct when I was there on my birthday. Only 5 songs, but really nicely done. His cover of Brittney Spears I'm Not So Innocent is absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this one!

Good luck,Brock. I'm sure all will work out in the end.

Takes balls to cover that Brittney song...............

The song was halfway through before I realized it was her song! He does kind of an acoustic Irish folk rock version of it that just works!

Doug, Thanks for stopping by with the Marsh tonight. It's not enough for me to punish myself by bringing a Marsh A200s into my house that I can't keep, but I'm too dang busy tonight to hook it up!!! aghghgh!!!!

Also, I just realized that the IC's that you had left at my house during our last get together here WERE the AnalogII's. So, I already know what they sound like. :) We'll see how they sound in comparison to the DIY star quad cables that I bought in the market.

Rich - when do you plan to make the road trip to Noel's? If I'm available and you want company let me know.

To have company on that long drive, I'll adjust to your schedule!

That Marsh hooked up yet Aaron?

Rich - unfortunately it's probably going to be the weekend after New Years, or the weekend following that. I am getting lots of time to spend with my daughter, so that's the blessing that is all the gift I need for Christmas. Let me know if you want to wait that long.

Nothing unfortunate about January Doug, enjoy that Q time with your daughter. December is pretty well spoken for anyway.

It started snowing here at work ~11PM. Freezing rain now.
