can you show me later how to make the waves cancel each other in the middle of the room? i would also love to see some pictures of how you decouple from the floor. so you can have full sound and no upset neighbors huh? do you have the room treated as well?
There's really not too many tricks. I had been experimenting with how to improve my HT bass and not po the neighbors in my apt building. The great people at SVS said to stop thinking small and realize that I needed a lot of air to move at low volume, which takes more surface area for the sub-woofer drivers. So I went with the SVS 20-39 PC+ and used the Polk PSW505 I had as the rear sub. I then sold the 505 when SVS released their PB-10NSD. I've just been experimenting with volume and phase setting and after a lot of experimenting have it dialed in so it works. The trick is to keep working with the settings.
