Ken, I saw your post on the Thorens turntable & thought you might be able to answer my question. I have a Thorens TD 126 MkIII Electronic turntable I purchased while stationed in England around 1980. It is 220V. There's a 50hz/60hz switch under the platter; does that also changed voltage from 220V to 110V-120V?? The switch isn't addressed in the owners manual. I've never used the turntable since returning to the states in 1982, and it's been packed in it's original box since then. I'm getting back into vinyl and hope to put my vintage Thorens to use. Thanks! Mickey

    Greetings Kenneth,

I have a blacked out fuse in my PSW505 Subwoofer. A Google search led me to the following thread:

    http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/show...SW505-no-power

The fuse is fully blacked out, so I believe that I may need to send the unit in for service. I realize that this thread is from 2004, so I figured I should check if it is still acceptable to send just the amplifier. I would rather avoid the cost of shipping the entire cabinet. Please let me know if this is acceptable.

    Regards,
    David M.

    Kenneth:

I saw in a post from a few years ago that Polk Audio could recone a blown MW-8002 woofer. I have a blown woofer in a RT10 tower. Can you still do that at Polk? Would I be advised to recone both woofers to keep them matches?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Ken,

I packed the PSW10 amplifier last night, wrapped the amplifier on bubble wrap and put it inside a cardboard box with plenty of foam “peanuts”, I have included on it a Note with my Name, my US shipping address, my Mexican Mobile and my skype and whatsapp ID’s, I also included the description of the problem, the copy of the amazon Invoice and the shipping instructions from you

I also wrote all my email addresses to be contacted if they are unable to call my mobile.

I still have 1 question, How will I know the repair/replacement status?

    Thanks

    Hi Ken,

I have this Polk Speaker setup - Fronts RT1000i Center CS400i Rear f/x500i Subwoofer PSW650. Should I setup all these speakers as LARGE on my Yamaha RX-V1065 receiver? Should my LFE be the PSW650 or both the PSW650 and the RT1000i's.

I had the speakers set as LARGE and the PSW650 as the LFE but when I play audio CD's 2.0 the subwoofer is never engaged. I selected SMALL for the front speakers and that fixes the output to the PSW650 issue but essentially there is nothing coming out of the subs in the RT1000i's

Yamaha told me to set the fronts as LARGE and the Sub as (both the PSW650 and RT1000i's). That produces bass from all 3 but I am concerned about phase cancellation and a fairly jagged frequency response if all 3 subs are sending out the same frequencies.

    What do you recommend? Thanks
