    Hi Ken,

I have a PSW202 Sub that had been sitting in storage, which I am hoping to now use in a bedroom. It is out of warranty (purchased from Circuit City in 2003), but I was hoping there was anything you could do to get free service for this? I would greatly appreciate the $50 fee being waived (I can pay for the shipping).

Let me know, I have been a polk fan for years, and would end up buying a psw10 even if I ended up junking the 202.

    Hi Ken,

I have a HT with all polk tc80i and they seem to make a cracking or popping noise.
    Why is this happening???

    Hi Ken,

I have some LSi25's that I bought from RC Willey in Boise, Idaho and while moving them around, I bumped the left channel and damaged the left base of the speaker where the carpet spikes screw into. It looks like the base is removable with 4 screws. Would I be able to order a new one? I'm assuming it's just that peice of finished mdf that I would need. Thanks!

I just purchased a refurbished pair of LSI-15's and hooked them up this evening. When I started playing them I could smell something, I wasn't sure if it was serious or just because of them being new.

Well, after a couple of hours of them playing I went back in the room and noticed they sounded different and I traced it to the left tweeter not working. I pulled it and it seemed okay so I pulled the crossover. Bingo, it smelled very bad when I pulled it out then when I got to where I could see it, I saw it was burned. See the attached photo. Please call my cell phone tomorrow 731-644-6259 to discuss this. I am hoping you can overnight me a new crossover. It also seems like there isn't much excess wire to work with on these?? Are there any tips or things to watch out for I need to be aware of??

Also, do you know what could have caused this??

One quick question. I bought the PSW10. I read your article on how to setup the sub.
I have a doubt. It says "set the variable low pass filter, on the sub-woofer, to the highest setting"

Its that the crossover knob? If so, set it to the highest (like 250, or in the 40)?
Another quick thing. Im using Bose AccoustiMass System. Its for my bedroom. That Bose sub enclosure its not enough and it does not use the subout on the receiver. Thats why I bought the PSW10, pretty cheap in CC. Im using Denon 686 Receiver.
Where should I put the crossover setting on the Denon by using that amp? And the setup crossover in the Sub, where to put it, in 250, or 40?? Thanks

I seem to be having problems with my PSW650. First thing... my son managed to get a hold of the variable low pass crossover knob and some how broke it. It just spins with no stop to it at all... second... the sub will play no sound any longer (which was before the knob was broken... he did it while I had it apart looking at it). The green light will come on, how ever when you turn the power on the front it just dies. Any suggestions on what I should do?

    Dear Mr. Swauger,
I have a wonderful pair of old rt2000i's that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately, I believe I blew out a midrange or tweeter(not sure) in one of the towers.

Would you know how to go about getting this repaired?

Any help is greatly appreciated and I am motivated to continue to enjoy these awesome speakers.

    Thank you for your time.
