  1. Huge Difference! Night and Day, I'd say. I had the Lsi9s for over two years before I got the mods. It really opened them up and made them a new set of speakers.

    I haven't been frequenting the Club Polk forum since 2010 so I'm not sure about the current membership, but when I was more active there were a number of members who did the mods. The guy who did the mods for me was forum member ben62670 (Ben). I forget his last name. See if you can track him down. If not, there used to be a sub-forum called 'DIY Mods' that you can go to and look around there for other members who do this service for a fee. Back in 2010 it cost me about $330 for parts and labor through Ben. Not sure if things have gone up since. Good luck!
