OOOPS, wrong size frame, sorry.
The David Crosby and Friends DVD-A
"If I Could Only Remember My Name"
is remixed in surround sound - very nice.
Play it on a Modwright tube-modded Oppo 95
with Polk SDAs FL/FR, Polk center and surround speakers !!!
Will I even get a slight buzz when I play my lowly redbook copy on my unworthy Carver/SRS2 setup ?
Did'ya know ........... that Mr. Jerry Garcia provided the sweet pedal work on CS&N's "Teach Your Children ? Yup, it's true.
Yeah, a lot of sittin' in with NRPS was happening also.
that's true...some jams in those days...monumental..and no 'hot' recordings
No pedals but, some awesome sliding IMO !

Ordered Robert Randolphs "Live at the Wetlands" CD off of Amazon because of this thread. I HIGHLY recommend this live album. Super raw, fun, funky, high energy.

i just got a pedal steel...been playing guitar 30+ years...pedal steel LOOKS so easy! it aint! gotta learn all new tunings, progressions and positions...plus getting used to having the steel bar in your fingers grasp...maintaining intonation and pitch..i'm working at it:) it's a haunting little slab o' wood...the players i've listened to, get a whole new level of respect from me:cool:
