"My bloddy Valentine 3D" on my Oppo BDP-83SE.

Today a friend wanted to see the movie "My bloddy Valentine 3D" on my Oppo BDP-83SE:D.
The image quality was amazing and the scenes "3D" are very realistic with effects that are equal to the 3d movie.... Not too shabby. Other notable entries include a hurled pickax that penetrates through the windshield of a pickup and, by extension, seemingly straight through the television/projector screen and into the living room/auditorium, and the barrel of a shotgun that covers the audience from one side to the other.
Generally, the 3D works to fantastic effect, perhaps the best overall presentation yet on the Blu-ray format.
The mine's alarm klaxon, for instance, rings out with a splendid and all-encompassing effect that seems to surround listeners in a realistic circle of sound.
3D aspect:
My Bloody Valentine is the first R-rated film to be projected in Real D technology, as seen in films such as Journey to the Center of the Earth.

I have this and will agree, the scene with the Pick axe thrown toward the screen made me flinch. Hahaha.

Did you move when the axe was flying toward you?
It seems to me that a the 3D effect may cause someone in the audience to move suddenly and perhaps hurt themselves, spill something, choke while eating or other cause some other unwanted behaviour or audience participation. What do you think?

I didn't realize the Oppo BDP-83SE could be upgraded to the new 3D technology.
Is it simply a firmware upgrade and adding special glasses?

Absolutely agree.
My friend's wife threw herself on the floor.
At the end of the movie told us that he had beaten on the table
I am updated to version BDP83-50-0424 and use the glasses included on disk.

You can play this 3D movie on any player

The 3D in this movie wasnt as good as journey to the centre of the earth . I highly recommend that title because of the big bugs with the tenticls waving around outside the screen
