Wondering which amp would be better for 2 10" gxr.
Pa330.2 or the pa880.1. Subs are 165rms each @ 4ohms.
Anyone know if these subs are dvc or svc?

DVC = they'll have 2 sets of terminals per driver. Do you know what drivers you have exactly?
Btw, welcome to Club Polk!

These are the all the specs. I only see 1 set.
your sub is dvc, 880 has more power in a 2ohm mode. I would go with 880.1
Thanks. Change of plans. Had to buy tires yesterday so the amp is on hold yet again. Going to build a proper size box. This should help my current setup.
Current setup: 1 10" Polk gxr sub
Sony explode 222w amp (I know you don't have to say anything about the amp)

Hadn't been able to find out either. Guess I'll run it by an audio shop to see
Look at the rear of the subwoofer. If it is SVC, then there will be one positive and one negative terminal. If it is DVC, there will be two of each for a total of four terminals.
You said you only saw one set of terminals, so that would mean SVC. Most of the subs Polk has produced in recent years have been both SVC and DVC.
Checked again. Definitly svc. Only one set. Thanks
A big one with lots of graphics on the cover.
