Some of latest music buys are vintage CDs from Japan. I think each of the 2 CDs below are over 25 years old....
Then there's this CD....the first digitally-recorded classical CD ever released....maybe 28 years old? The jewel case, on the back cover, actually has "Patent pending" molded into the plastic....
Donald Fagen - "Nightfly" and "Morph the Cat" (Should have had these long ago)
Pretenders - Pretenders II - Original Master SACD (Definitely worthy)
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine Remaster (I have EVERYTHING else, so...)
Natalie Merchant - Tigerlilly - Gold Original Master CD (Much better than the Original release I have)
I have been on a spree lately, but these are the standouts.
Picked up a good free album at www.ufbrocks.com that I've been digging. Worth the 133mb download, and hey... the price is right! Kinda' reminds me of a more modern Elvis Costello. Definitely worth checking out.
Along with some new vinyl from George:
Tom Rush - self titled
Richard Betts - Highway Call
Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus
Dolly Parton/Linda Ronstadt/Emmylou Harris - Trio
Kris Kristofferson - reissue of self titled first LP

Hot Tuna - self titled
Willie Nelson - Stardust
Danny O'keefe - O'keefe
Marvin Rainwater - self titled
Byron Berline/Dan Crary/John Hickman - Berlilne/Crary/Hickman
Paul Simon - self titled

The Beatles Abby Road pretty good record but cover is worn.

MOOG the electric Eclectics of Dick Hyman. Exc. cond and lokks promising from the album cover.
The Graeme Edge Band.....featuring... Adrian Gurvitz..Have no idea about this but the cover art looked promising

The acoustic guitar really stands out.

I bought Sale el Sol by Shakira
Iron Maiden - Killers....Amazon
Just bought Raising Sand by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss from HDTracks. The first couple of tracks the producer decided to screw with the stereo field too much, but otherwise it's good.
I think I'll buy me some Sara Evans album above on the strength of the cover art.

Black Label Society - Order of The Black
Jackyl-When Moonshine & Dynamite Collide
Dixie Chicks - Wide Open Spaces
