I got back into spinning vinyl this week after a 17 year absence, and I purchased several albums to play...
Been getting quite lucky picking up used vinyl in terrific condition, including a near-perfect condition of Grand Canyon Suite (1964). Just hope my luck continues.
As for new, Adele's 21 is exceptional, with a much improved sound quality and far less dynamic compression compared to her debut album 19. "Running In the Deep" is one of those songs that must be cranked up.
I just came back from my local small town record store where I purchased a bunch of vinyl. Can't wait to play some later on...
My latest vinyl order from George:
Crosby,Stills,and Nash-CS&N

I love both the Robbie Robertson and the Paul Simon.
Great guitar work on the Robertson disc and the songs are pretty solid throughout.
Paul Simon`s is one of those albums that grows on you with each listen.
I recommend them both.
thanks for share, i like it

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues. Good album, but not as good as their first.

I've been enjoying the new Joanna Newsome, "Have One on Me". At first, all I could hear was the Kate Bush similarities, but now it's really growing on me.

Listened to some last night....
Real nice sound quality on the first disc. I haven't played the second one yet.
AWSOME!!!!!
Also an old "Montrose" album was auditioned last night as well....Awsome as well.
I bought about 30 older albums last sat at a yard sale. They're not perfect but there were some I hadn't recognized. I also listened to some "10 years after " album "recorded live" I believe it was.....and it to was awsome as well.
An awsome evening I would say..
picked up 3 brand new Pentatone SACDs for less than 7 bucks a piece.
I guess CD's are soon to be the thing of the pass.but, this CD is sonically expressive.
