Polk SR5250, SR104, C300.2, Arc Audio DXE and Tru SSLD6i

Kinda nice having all that stuff, look at it and think that i will find use for it one day but reality is that i just keep adding stuff to my "closet" lol, time to get rid of some.

Some items are used, some are brand spanking new, never installed.
All items are 100% functional and come in original boxes.
Used items have some blemishes but nothing crazy or out of the ordinary given that they were installed/used.

Prices are "all in" and include paypal and shipping fees except for SR104 subwoofers. See below.
I am in Staten Island, NY and local pick up is def welcomed.

These subs are 30lbs each so shipping will not be cheap here. At least $50 for a pair i'd assume but i need to check on that. Local pick up is the best deal here as shipping will greatly increase total cost.

The speakers are outstanding and the DB's compare in no way. If you like your LSi's, you will love the SR's.

Yeah, I keep thinking they are my next step in my car. I just got a 2 channel amp that is 200 wpc @ 2 ohm so I have more than enough power for these guys..... I could even run 2 sets and still be fine.....

and since its all wired, they would just need to switch the crossovers and reinstall the speakers.....

I hate seeing these For Sale because it makes me want to buy buy buy...

Hell makes me wonder how the SR subs compare to my Treo TE.... I could be all Polk + Sundown hmmmmm

Below are specs on it which probably will not tell you much but if you search around on diyma you'll find a LOT of reviews on this unit from users. There's not a single "bad" or even "it's ok" review, everyone that have/had this unit speak very highly of it. Yes, SR will blow db out of the water. Even the fact that it's 5.25'' vs 6.5''.
Then again i am the seller so my opinion could sound bias :biggrin:

Nah, I was aware of that, even as you said despite the size disparity. The problem is always funding.

Got some stuff that needs to sell to get up the funds.

Hell I might just sell my rear set of db6501's (or hell both sets) and not replace them until the car is getting ready to sell.....

I've also got an SR104DVC and it is a stellar sub.

One good set of comps will beat 2 OK sets. You don't need more than one pair of speakers in a car anyways, so why not sell 'em both :wink:

Yeah, after doing a quick spec's compare the Treo wins. Mostly thought due to my amp being 1 ohm stable and being able to put out 1400 watts @ 1 ohm, 700 @ 2 ohm (Treo is a 4 ohm DVC wired for 2 ohm load), 360 @ 4 ohm (which is what these particular SR's are).....

My only though with keeping the other components is that I could wire both sets through my 2 channel amp and get all 4 speakers 100 wpc for each one....

Will be keeping my eye on this For Sale listing.......

I will back you up on this. Installing SR5250's in my car were by far the biggest upgrade I've done. As mentioned, they are the LSi's of the car, so if you like LSi's, you will love these!

I got it because i was sure to run active 3-way front + sub but it never really happened and i'm very happy with my current 2-way front (SR6500) + sub (SR124). I also got a fair deal on used Arc IDX/XEQ combo which is perfection when it comes to 2-way front + sub so i used that and think i'll stick with it.

would 150 rms make the tweeters be really bright? i have a new set of sr 6500 i just recently perchased after monthes of searching and im in the market for a new/used ampfor them and i already have a pa330 for the back, how would 150 rms sound? whats it do does it make the tweeters more harsh and give the drivers more bass?

If u're talking about having PA330 and C300.2 powering SR6500 - def go with C300.2 to power up woofers.
It always makes sense to have more wattage for woofers. Low frequencies require more power to achive punch/kick you expect to hear.

Congrats on getting SR6500, those are close to impossible to get nowadays. Did you get them from ebay last week? There were 2 listings there.

Yeah I was the final bid on the bid that ended first got them for 522.85 personally I didn't want to go that far but when I missed the sr5250 for 230sale a while ago I got really upset and decided that. I would get any sr and I looked for months till I found these and decided to not let go

Im so excited to hear them but I have a big problem......my car front speakers are 5250ok and I bought some adapters for about 16u and turns out there the wrong ones so they don't fit my car and I really want them too:((((((((((( wanted to use the pa330 to power them for a bit till I got a new amp and hu

If the 6.5's don't fit your car, you might consider someone offering a trade for the 5.25" 5250's. There are some people here (me included) who run 5250's in a car that supports the 6.5" woofers. Just a thought...
