Wow... thats a WICKED album. I didn't know Tool made such sweet vinyl like that.
So in my HT setup I have never been happy with the center channel, mostly due to the resulting acoustic because of where it had to be placed (under the TV). Since I had a spare hca1000, I figured why not try the M60s as dual centers... lol!
I have to say...Worked out quite nicely! Much better than anything else I have tried so far
What do you have the Parasounds plugged into. Looks like an apc h15.
That's interesting! I have two TSI-300s in storage and a Monitor 70 based HT system with a CS2. Two 300s as a center? Hmmmmmm! Have to think about that. I was going to save them for 7.1 duty but I just don't have the room for a 7.1 system. But I do have some space in the front, there?

It's a Belkin PureAV PF60 Home Theater Power Console. Not sure how well it actually protects my gear, but it did clean up the sound quiet a bit. The hca1000 is plugged into this power console along with all the other electronics, but the hca1500 is plugged directly into the wall socket behind the TV. From what I understand, directly from the wall is best way to run the more power hungry amps.
It's a "bit" overkill in terms of clutter(if you can call it that), but if you want to feel like you are at a movie theater, this is sure to do the trick. My main problem was that I never could get the dialog to be clear/clean enough. Well... Now it sounds like the actors are standing right in front of you. It's pretty cool
I was also pretty surprised that in my particular setup the monitors sounded the cleanest crossed over at 100hz. I just let the sub handle the rest.
Now you got me thinking. I have a pair of tsi400's. Could give um a test drive as centers, thanks.

SAE cartridge on TD126 III

Interesting; the SAE cartridge is utterly unknown to me :-P
Is that SAE cartridge, MM, MC, or some other, more esoteric, configuration?

Running out of room!
Was it related to Bongiorno's/GAS's "Sleeping Beauty" MC, by any chance?
