Very nice, BD. Any Polks? BTW, those Amazings should be in the HT ;)
Peace Out~:D
HT rears....
Looks great, Troy! is that Sanus steel foundation with the 9? I have the exact same one...
Nope, the Amazings are in the cave to stay!
The HT rig is polk....LSi9's and LSiC up front, R10's in the back. Paradigm sub...
Here is a pic of the gear in the cave...
The garage rig:
Marantz 2215 / Pioneer CS88a's....
You own stock in Scott TP?
Peace Out~:D
Ask around...everyone will tell you that I'm full of it. Proof positive.

Troy, just a thought, aren'y those CA's a little close? the ribbons are like 3.5" apart, can you reverse the left and right?
Ya what Ron said, christ that's alot of TP lol
They are 40" apart....that's as far apart as I can get 'em and keep 'em a foot from the side walls. Ideally, they should be in a bigger room....
Never thought of reversing them.....not sure how that would work out.
BDT
oh....and the TP was on sale at KMart...buy one get one free.

Real nice looking rig. I little to fancy to be considered a "man cave" though. You need to move that garage fridge to the cave to manly it up a bit.
Both rigs look real sweet though.
Edit: I'm sorry all 3 rigs.....
LOVE Scott tissue man. 1000 sheets PER roll. Not the last word in softness, but man it goes a LONG way.
Rigs look good Troy. I've got the same 'issue' with my SRS. They could be (and probably should be) in a bigger room, but I also think there is something to be gained from an 'intimate' setting.
Cheers,
Russ
Troys all about scott all day all the time :D
he's feeling the scott, how much is that like a penny a foot? Dan would frown upon that
:D :D :D
SWEET!
Scott's cleans and exfoliates.....I dig that.
BDT
Super rig Troy! Those CA's are huge:eek:
What are the Beamers doing on the floor? Planning to get rid of them?
Maurice

I dig that.
Peace Out~:D
Very sweet looking speaks! You know it's bad when you have to upgrade the house to hold the speakers.:(
Beemers aren't going ANYWHERE....I keep 'em in the cave. I like to switch things up every once in a while....
I don't have all the money in the world so I still have need for option. (some folks will get that)
BDT
That's cool. How do they sound compared to the LSi9? Which do you prefer?
There was a time when I thought Beamers can't rock. Now that I think about it, I heard them many years ago and at that time I was pumping the bass boost on my Technics receiver with Kenwood speakers. I didn't know anything about good sound back then.

And when you've used up enough rolls...Quote:

Wait for it...
You can build a nice Scott tube amp!
Thank you, thank you very much! I'll be performing in the Blue Room through October. Goodnight and God bless.
organ,
That is a good question, a VERY good question.
A more equal comparison would be the LSi7's (which are sitting on the other side of the DVD/CD rack)......
The LSi's have superior bass response and the ring radiator is just amazing. It must go out dead flat to a zillion hz. Detail is amazing (in terms of piano, LSi is second only to the DQ-10 around here) yada yada yada....GREAT speaker
B&W, I dunno, I just LOVE the ever so slight tilt in the mid range. Everything these speakers do, they do well.
The big difference is that, for lack of a better term, I find the LSi's somewhat unemotional. I think that could be due to the fact that they are SO damn flat. Now, I'm not saying that I don't love 'em, i do but I think that the B&W draws you in just a little more.
Having said that, when I want to listen to a good small monitor speaker, I'd say I've got two of the best. I could live happily with either one and I plan to do so.
Oh, and I think the beemers rock just FINE.
BDT
Very nice systems Troy. You deserve to be proud of what you have assembled over the years.
Id take an Lsi-9 over the B&W Naut 805 anyday! :)
Troy - Excellent rigs and pics. A lot of great sound in that household!
Nice pics Troy. You have a couple very nicely put together systems. :D
Thanks Mark...
At some point, you and Jesse need to load up and travel on down 95 and pay me a visit.....
