Small addendum to the plan, after looking at Tony's design and a request from Andre,

Instead of four binding post holes - there will be points on the back of the plate for the exact spot to drill if you needed the top post. I will drill these for free if someone needs these posts!

I'm not clear, now, about the plates.

I want holes for four binding posts in each plate and a hole for the Neutrik Speakon connector for the Dreadnought cable.

You will drill these holes (or other configurations) for those who want them?

Hey Phil!

You are correct! It made more sense to do it this way since some speakers like your 1C only have two...

No plugs, no fuss! :)

With the preset points on the back I just drop a drill bit into place and hit the trigger and we are in business for four binding post! :)

So, the pair for the SRSs will come with holes for the Neutrik connector and four binding posts, and the pair for the 1Cs will have a hole for the Neutrik connector and for two binding posts.

Correct?

Will you have the plates in time to use them for the 1Cs before you return the crossovers and cups/plates to me?

This whole process assuming collecting funds go smoothly will take approximately 2 weeks or so. So we might be in a good time frame.

Shop received the cup today, will have word by Monday. I also ordered a crap load of NL2 connectors if you guys needed.

:smile: Well said, Trey! That is, the four females, too, thing!

Because I don't plan to use the stock cups ever again, I don't think they need the NL2s, just the new plates -- that's assuming the new plates come ready to be installed with the new crossovers.

Someone brought up an interesting idea to use these with non SDA speakers... and this is very possible.

The pricing would remain the same but there would be no NL2 hole.
