My cheapo Target rack :)

None whatsoever. I do have a concrete floor under the carpet and pad though. I can knock on the marble slabs with my knuckles while records are playing without any issues at all. I have the same slab with spiked cones under both tables. I also replaced the wooden peg legs under the Dual with spiked feet and replaced the stock feet under the Music hall with Mapleshade radiused bottom brass footers. The VTI racks are sitting on the carpet without the spikes at the bottom. I removed them.
Thanks to all for some really good information and some really nice racks and set ups. Mickey how about some information and close ups of those stringed instruments, they look beautiful from a distance?
Has anyonetried BOLTZ racks?
I've been looking at these racks for awhile, love that there modular and you can get different spacing. Looks like you have the BL series which is the one I want, I prefer MDF boards over glass, only problem is theres no cable management. Wish VTI would add the cable management of the BLG series to this one.
First coat of tung oil is on...

I was hoping to see some pics of your racks, very nice!
Yeah ZLTFUL, those racks look very nice indeed!
Thanks guys.
Really want to set them up but I have several coats to go to get the surface built up the way I want.
I also managed to knock out 5 cutting boards while I was putting them together. LOL.
Great Job on the racks.
I picked this up at walmart for my office, wheels dont move just looks. Works good in my office.

Nice racks :)
Beautiful ZLTFUL!
What kind of feet did you use for the racks?
Used black chrome Dayton speaker spikes. The 2 piece kind that have a smaller spike the screws into the larger cone. Since the will be on laminate flooring, I plan on just using the little discs that came with the set to put them on the floor. The third one has divots for it in the tops of the other racks' legs.
Rack I built with unistrut and leftover glass for my simple upstairs AV systemAttachment 81662

A very good selection of Racks and Stands, both commercial built and self made. I have an old cabinet that I had made several years ago, I need to find something new also.
Nice setup Mike!
Crap...I just realized I haven't put up a finished pic...

Well mostly finished. Still need to organize things a bit better and get my TT upstairs.
That looks like a clone of the Salamander Synergy racks, which I own. Very nicely done.
Been wondering where the finished product was ZLTFUL, very nice!!! I still haven't finished my shelves yet and you're all done. What kind of speakers are those?
Polk RTA-15TLs
Those are beautiful speakers. What do I know, at first blush I thought they were Vandersteens of maybe 2ce .I guess the logos on top which Vandys don't have should have clued me in better. Again they are very nice
