But even that little guy is really punchy and clean and digs surprisingly deep. I bet that 18 inch bad boy is awesome...

Now THIS has gotten my attention.... How would they dayton and the flat box from DIY sound pair up with a Crown XLS1000? I believe this would be an improvement over my Outlaw, and I've been looking for something to dump my money into this spring! Any comments?

Please, someone talk me in or out of this option. I'm itching to pull the trigger on the driver, amp and flat pack box offered. I really wonder how this would stack up against my dream sub, JL f113. Note the seller of the flat pack says the Dayton version is sold out. Of course if you call him things may be different.

The XTI series is perfect for a sub though, it's easy to add any boost/eq. But for a pair of subs, you would want to look bigger than the 1002.
