I don't have the opportunity to listen to any of the above speakers. Which series is better? I am running a Yamaha RX 720. Listning to mainly home theater. I seen the RTI8 on the Polk EBay store for a good price. Thaks for any help you can provide.

The RTI a5 is the newer version of the RTI 8. Either of these speakers will sound good with your AVR. The A7's will probably be a little under powered. The will sound pretty good, but will not produce the sound that they could.
The RTI A line has a different cabinet design, which is more of a modern look than the more "box" look of the RTI line.
I would go with either the RTI8 or the RTI A5 with your current AVR. Incidently, I have the RTI A5's, and they are a very good product. These are 2 way speakers, and tend to start getting weak around the 50 Hz area, so I advise a sub woofer be added.
Hope that helps, and welcome to Club Polk.
Have the A5's myself and the A3's running off a Denon 891 which is enough power but would be looking for a different AVR if I would move up to the A7's or A9's the A5's are great.
Also dont the A's have an updated crossover, and dont sound as bright as the older RTI's? I am not for sure, I just though I read that some where on here.
I also agree with rpf65. A good subwoofer with the A'5 is what I went with and have no regrets.
