I know we have a couple SAE experts here.Anybody?
I have experience with the separates, not receivers. AFAIK, the "Two" series entry level components were made in Japan, unlike the separates, which were made in the USA. Still, I don't think you can go wrong with the Two R6 or any SAE product. The asking price seems about right.
The SAE TWO line was after SAE's hey day. These were when DAK bought the company and were having units made overseas. They are on par with typical Sony, Yamaha, Pioneer of the day. They use STK power pak amplfiers in place of descrete parts for amplification.
Thanks guys,I will look elsewhere.

I know you know more about SAE products than I do, Mr. Ward... but I seem to recall the SAE Two product line coexisting. at least for a time, with the gen-u-ine, US-designed and built SAE components (sort of like McIntosh's short-lived "Stereotech" experiment). No?
Just for giggles heres the link.

Just for giggles, there's a SAE 2 receiver by me for sale. Think it's a 7 for 150. Also a few SAE 2 pre amps and tuners, kinda fugly though if you ask me.
lots of giggling...
