Sub right behind driver's seat?
I have my Polk SR 12'' in the trunk in fiberglass enclosure but lately there's a lot of times I need 100% of my trunk space so I have to take the sub out and there's times where I can't put it back for weeks. Driving around without bass sux lol.
What if I get some slim 8 or 10'' and just throw it on the floor right behind driver's seat in the simplest square mdf box. It'll be temporary sub/enclosure while I can't have my 12'' in the trunk so I don't care about how it looks but I do care about what it'll sound like.
Is it a good idea?? Are there any issues I'm bound to run into - cancelations/phase/too close to sub....... ?
