The Bens - Bruised
Mary Chapin Carpenter - Come On Come On
JJ Cale - The Very Best of....
Both were purchases inspired by the old RnR Rem threads. Not sure who I owe the thanks to, but both are great...

It's 70's rock in the changer tonight.
Coulda looked it up... too lazy.
Coulda guessed, but was wrong before doing that...
The Cale is extra outstanding. Tunes you know he did, tunes you didn't, tune after tune after tune... Wonderful stuff played twice.
Two from 1989:
Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever
Neil Young - Freedom
They both have voices that only their mothers could love - But they both can ROCK!
Yeah... ain't it strange. Who do you think would win that vocal competition?
Me... I be shuffle playin' the four disc "Citizen Steely Dan" set ("The Royal Scam" up at the moment - turned that one up a bit) Feel as if I have become "unstuck" in time...
Yep...throw in Bob Dylan...then put those three on American Idol and see how fast they get tossed...way before some "Boy Band Wannabe" would be my guess...Quote:

When the feeling came upon me like a tidal wave
Started swearing to my God and on my mother's grave

To hurry up and arrive,
Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you

I picked up a couple of new Jazz SACD's.
CannonBall Aderly Quintet in San Fransisco and John Coltrane's Blue Train
Two jazz legends that really shine.
I just picked up Oscar Peterson live in Paris from Telarc. This is one of the best discs I have ever heard for sound quality.
