I was surfing the Recent Products Gallery and was reminded of the existence of this subwoofer. Does anyone know anything about it? Has anyone heard or used one? It seems to be capable of some seriously, stupid-loud bass.

Members Scottvamp and Brett have them, I'm sure others do.
Browse the showcase, I'm sure you'll see them. The word is it's the biggest, baddesd sub Polk has made to date, and those who own them seem to want to hold onto them.
Every now and then, you'll see one come up used on ebay, or even here on the forum - asking price is usually around 5 to 6 Franklins.

Russ
I have had my PSW1200 for about 3.5 - 4 years. It ROCKS!!!!!
It is a great looking sub. It has stood very proud in my reference theater. I will be moving to a new house soon and may be parting ways with it. The shipping is going to be pricey because it weights over 100lbs. I will put it on the flea market before ebay along with some other items. It is in flawless condition and sounds as good as the day I bought it.........
Jstas,
Scott is a cool, yet VERY wierd dude. Take all his reviews with a grain of salt, if you follow.
There's a better chance than zero the most work his 1200 has seen is Eddie Rabbit's kick drum.
;)

You could have stopped at COOL!!!!! :)
Anyone with a PSW1200 automatically qualifies as, at minimum, a bit eccentric.
Hey........I resemble that remark......:rolleyes:Quote:

Scott,
Please let me know when you want to sell the 1200. I might be interested.
