What happens when you catch the curbing with your knee at the track :(
OMG that was your car, thank god you are ok, must have been terrifying.
It was a pretty helpless feeling, when your car is floating so you can't control it at all, and the black-muddy water is washing over it so you can't see out, you can't see what you are hitting, what is hitting you, or where you're going. Luckily it was probably no higher than the door handles. Any higher and we would probably have had a much greater risk of the windows smashing and the entire interior flooding. Glad to be home tonight.
Wow!!! I saw some video of a car floating while the driver frantically was turning the steering wheel every which way which of course did absolutley nothing, but then what are you supposed to do?? Glad everyone is OK!
Glad to hear you're ok! I got a flash flood warning on my cell phone last night from the emergency broadcast service (I think...) - never got one before. Needless to say, it rained heavily in Central PA, but nothing near as scary as what you went through. I can't even imagine the fear...
C'mon, Rick, you know how to heal my pain!:lol:
More later, the FedEx man just dropped off my new toy......... :loneranger:
That's good! I wouldn't have minded seeing THAT rushing down the road toward me.
