We had some RTA-12c's on CL for $50 but I never heard back from the seller.
Hope a local Polkie got them :)
They needed the tophats rebuilt, but other than that looked good and he said they sounded good.
There are also some SDA-1's for $375

Not sure about the price, seems fair though
Well I actually picked up a pair while they were on sale. I normally avoid headphones like the plague, as I value my hearing more than I value my hands, and it's too easy to damage your ears with headphones. However I convinced myself that if I was really careful with them I could avoid any damage. The fact that they have a volume control on them that I can turn all the way down before putting them on helped with my rationalization.
Anyway they are easily the best sounding headphones I've tried. Probably not saying a whole lot since my previous headphones experience consists of an ancient set of Sennheiser HD414s. I'd say they are very neutral--they do a great job of disappearing, even with the bass/treble EQ engaged. The quality is great, too. Love the metal and leather, and the cord is wrapped in fabric. Pleasantly surprised by these headphones. If you see them get down to $60 again, I'd say jump on 'em. If you don't like them you can always sell them on eBay and recover your money.

If we weren't in the process of selling our house/buying a new one...this thing would be in my living room. Found some reviews on it that are pretty stellar also. Seems like a steal.
Leroy, buy this thing and hold on to it for like 6 months for me:cry:
