So like...if a cap blows up in the trunk of a vehicle- and no body is around- does it still make noise?

Only if it is RF, all the other ones are filled with sand and it deadens the sound.

Yes it does make a sound. It's the same sound that a sub makes playing rap except there is only one boom and the SQ is much better.

depends if it's running off of a magic power cord.
