One of my first cars out of HS was a 1977 Scirocco and from there I went to the original (84) GTi which had a Leistritz exhaust and was lowered, etc.
Anyways, enjoy your Passat and the New Rabbit
06 A4. Love this ride so far!!!
2008 Dodge Avenger - R/T version. Sharp looking car, with everything I could want in a car. 4 door convenience, but as fun to drive as a coupe. First car in a long time that I was actually excited about buying. The previous several cars I purchased have been more of me disliking a particular car the least.
here's a pic of all three of my cars,
the 07 mustang and 91 gmc sierra I mentioned, and the wifey's 06 Toyota matrix
'99 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 extended cab. Cap on the back, roof rack, kangaroo krusher bumper, lifted, tires, etc. All black.
Quick pic of it from last year. Not much externally has changed.

here for some info. He posted in post 24, and then I asked some questions so there's a little bit of info there.
It's a Superformance.
2006 Honda Accord LX SE - daily driver, 32 to 34 mpg, yippee! Only mod is a K&N air filter
2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab - 5.4L V8, K&N air filter, tuned by someone who knows what they are doing, 19.2mpg to 20.2 mpg running at 2000 rpm/72 mph on the interstate.
2006 Harley Sportster Low - NRHS Hurricane Stage 1, a little tuning/jetting done by Radical Cycles, runs real good!
2002 Ford F350 extended cab - the farm truck, big diesel, big noise, get in my way and I'll bump you kind of truck.
2006 Yamaha Grizzly 660 ATV - K&N air filter, tuned real good, Warn 2500ci winch, lot's of fun!
2003 Yamaha 250WR dirt bike - Works suspension, BBR custom linkage, lowered so short guys like me can still put their feet on the ground, pretty much stock motor.
These are enough to continually keep me on the edge of trouble!
Here's the first car I owned, I did all the work to it when I was 16.
michael w audio is correct I started with a Superformance, its really not much of a kit car as it is preassembled less engine and transmission. We added a 93 mm intercooled turbo for ****s and giggles. pic is the 71 torino.
Hypertone great bug, my first car that I rebuilt was a 62 mga,,, wish i still had it not that it would fit any more.
You asked for it... :D
Wow. Why did you get rid of the M3? I'm sure the Skyline would have to be just as much fun, but man, an M3?
Very nice looking Skyline, btw.
But you can't get sideways as easily in the Skyline, can you? I guess you just outgrow that urge after a while, huh? :p
Cool, for sure. I'm going to have to take a road trip down there sometime so I can get a ride in it. :D
