That happened to a guy I knew in highschool that had a Vega all tubbed out that was literally thrown together.
Dumb question, but what exactly happened? At first I was under the impression that something wasn't tightened properly, but then after reading Face's post I think it was a welding mistake???
A tubbed car with what appears to be a stock leaf spring suspension (and the torque to break clean)? That pretty much says it all, no? Bound to happen, not a matter of if, but when.
So if I understand correctly, it was a combination of a bad suspension and too much horsepower/torque?
