Powering a SR124 dvc
I have a older PPI PC 4100 that runs 2*400 bridged. Is this enough power to run this sub? I ran into some SR6500's that I am looking at picking up and after reading some reviews this sub seems like a good purchase aswell but I am questioning the 700wrms powering for this amp and not sure if I can push it enough. Any ideas/comments?
I plan on running the SR6500's with a older PPI PC2100.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

400w is enough to get it going but it all depends on how much output or overall headroom you're looking for. I'm going overboard and going to push it with 1000+ for shear headroom.

I will be driving both voice coils with 400wrms so feeding the sub 800+ as this amp should be doing a little more at 14.4v. This should be ample then I gather. I'm just looking for something musical but can perform when needed to do so.

You are going to a minimum of 100w over RMS so yeah, you'll be fine! Enjoy the headroom.
