I'm setting up a home theater in my basement. It's about 25 x 20. I have 2 LSI 7's for my front; an LSI C for the center; two LSI60's for my rear. My question is what subwoofer would be a good fit with these speakers?
Thanks,
Todd

Epik, SVS, Outlaw, HSU, Ed any of those should work pretty well for you.
With most subs, bigger is better and for home theater, 25hz or lower -3db point is what to look for.

Agreed. For your room size, you need a huge sub (or two). Buy big.
If you are a maple fan. SVS has 3 maple pb12-plus' in their B-stock department for under $800 each. https://svsound.com/store/index.cfm?...category_ID=12
Hsu, SVS or Outlaw should do just fine. Make sure you get at least a 12" woofer for your room size.
I've had a very similar setup and I don't think you can go wrong with an SVS PB12 Plus/2. I originally had mine in my living room which is about 20' X 16' and wide open into a breakfast nook and kitchen and I only had the sub turned up about 1/3 and got chest pounding bass. I've since converted a 19' X 15' room into a dedicated home theater and it's just insane. Where are you located? It would be nice if you could take a listen to a few before making a decision.
I have a pair of these in my HT. Passive subs are cheaper but only effective if you are driving them with a slamming amp (like mine ;)). I love having two subs!

all i have to say is IB with at least 2 15 or 2 18's
SVS PB12 Plus/2 x 2 in a dual setup paired with the Velodyne SMS-1. Awesomeness in every way. Bass in ya chest all day long.
Plus the subs are on sale so you save a buck.
Any shot at doing an IB sub? If you are a little handy and have the space there is nothing better.
