So I just wanted to show my setup and get some opinions and or advice on the speaker placements and such. How bad is it to have the sub beside sliding door windows and where else could I possibly put it?

Sweet sassy mulassy! I like the blue lights. How did you do those? What about putting the sub between the chair and the component rack?
Other than the toe looking a little excessive, it looks great. I like the blue lighting too.
Experiment. It actually looks similar to my setup.
Suggestions:
1. Move equipment rack to left wall.
2. Move left speaker and TV to the left. Leave right speaker as is. Center TV between speakers.
3. Put sub in front of TV, and put center channel on top. Put inclined door stops under center to incline it upward towards seating area.
4. Put acoustic treatment on bare walls to reduce reflections. Either foam or panels will work.
Once you have it optimized then realize you need to upgrade.
1. Buy 4 LSi15s.
2. Buy external amp.
3. repeat process
I don't think your subwoofer is big enough. The rest looks like crap with that tiny sub. ;)
Love the lighting and I agree with Face by not putting the sub in front of the TV. And 4 LSi15s would be a waste. Amp up the 10s to get their full potential when you feel you're ready for seperates, until then play around with "speaker placement" and enjoy.
Looks good. I like the lights. Toe in is a little much. You might wanna straighten them back a little...
Looks great. Love the blue.
Congrats,

The lights are strip led's from your local Ikea. With the push pf a button you can change from 7 different colors. Here is a link if anyone is interested. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50119407
I like them, it's a nice accent. Thanks for the link.
According to the THX website the toe in should be 45 degrees inward if your main seating arrangement is such that the 'imaginary' line created from the speaker hits your main seat to create a triangle. Some literature suggests the imaginary line from the same side front speaker should lead to your same side ear ....

It looks like your toe in is too aggressive and the lines of intersection cross before they reach your primary listener. This angle is variable of course if your seating area is further away, thus requiring a smaller angle (say 30- 40 degrees). A few simple measurements should allow you to figure this out.
Even without any upgrades you can UPGRADE the sound by being smart with optimization!
Good luck.

The pictures make the toe in look more excessive than they really are in person. When in the seated position they're pointed right at you. The problem is my couch cannot go much farther back so the toe looks excessive. Iv'e had them pointed straight for months now. Just recently toed them in to experiment. I think the real problem is they are too close togther. For me to move my audiorack would mean to change to all new and longer cables. There's not enough slack...rookie mistake.
Just reduce the toe in as others have said; maybe place speakers a little further apart from the TV....but not a must; this is just personal peference.
Don't get yourself caught in upgradeitis...what you have to power those 10's is good enough. Just sit back and enjoy. And yes, the leds look great; is white/natural one of the 7 colors?
White is one of the colours but it's not a true white that you may be thinking of. It has a very slight green tinge to it. The good news is Ikea sells the exact same led strips in ONLY white which is more of a true white. I use those ones for my Aquos upstairs. If you click the link earlier in this thread it will take to the Ikea page and just choose the white ones instead of multicolor.;)
Is that a Universal remote under your Rambo SD disc? What are all the remotes for? Nice setup though, I love that sub!
