I live in the Austin area and would love to demo the 500's vs my RTi12's, RTi6's and both on my HTR-5760 and my rotel gear (RB-1091 mono blocks, rsp-1068). I mostly listen in stereo 2 channel.

I sent a PM to Dorokusai to get on the demo list, but have not heard back from him. Is there an opportunity to give these speakers a test drive before they ship out of the Chicago area???
Just have to wait and see what Mark says muf. Give him time to reply, he is a busy guy. I know they are still at Lee's house and next on the list for local was Curt. I would assume if you qualify for the demo I'm sure after Curt is done with them and there are still no shipping materials available it would be concievable that you could have them next.

I'm in Grayslake which is 50 mins from Leroy in Milwaukee. I'll take a week or two in between Lee and Curt if Curt is delayed. Pickup at my house will save Curt some commute time to Milwaukee if he's coming from Dixon. Let me know. Thanks !!!

Thanks to Leroy for his hospitality last night and spending some time demo'ing his HT, talking HT and and answering HT questions. He's got a great set up.
Thanks to Polk Audio, Dorokusai and who ever else is involved with coordinating these demo's. I'll send out my opinions on the Tsi500 when the demo is done.
I own a pair of these. I love them, for the cost, they are great.
By the way, if someone is in my are of southeast minnesota and wants to hear them, let me know, you can come over and listen to them. You can even bring some of your gear if you want. I know room dynamics will be different than yours, but your still welcome to give them a listen.
I have one good shipping box too if someone needs it; fedex killed one box, but the speaker was fine.

OK, who's next for these speakers??? Anyone in the Chicago area? I did a little testing this weekend, but want to get the next stop set up on the national tour.
dorokusai - If these speakers need to be shipped, is it possible to get new boxes and foam inserts? This packaging is pretty well beat up. I can patch together best I can, but concerned with potential speaker damage. I've got a great story about a G-force meter that we accidently left on during an overnight shipment from FL to Chicago. I know the torture these boxes can go through........
I am "next" on the list for the demo, but since they were confined to ChicagoLand I am in queue until new shipping materials are acquired, that was the reason they are on tour in Chicago. I think Curt (comfortablycurt) is near you guys and wanted in on the demo, he was having car troubles and wasn't able to get to Leroyjr1's house. Mark (dorokusai) should know who is next. Hope to get my hands on them soon.

I am also in the que and have been a little quiet because I am 4hrs from Chicao and in the throws of football season (HS band director) so I would not have time to really listen to them until after Nov 5th. However, if they are still in the are after then I would love to get a listen.
