So just what is a Woot-Off ? I just got an e-mail about one for an interesting camera.
I believe it's where they sell one crappy item per hour, instead of the same crappy item all day.
One persons crap is another persons treasure, I guess. It certainly isn't as good as it was (before Amazon bought them). That being said, there are usually pretty fair deals. Just depends on what your needing / wanting at the time.
Woot is one day, one item, until it is sold. A woot-off is sell until sold. The good deals go quick and they usually have limited quantity. Other deals can last an hour or so. Just never know what is coming down the pipe. I usually run the Woot-A-Lyzer in the background when I'm on the computer in the evening.
Last thing I bought from Woot was a refurb Ooma, VOIP system, for $99. The house phone bill is now $3.76/mo. Best price I could find on it anywhere. (http://www.woot.com/)
