I managed to get the dome rounder. Still some dimples but sounds okay to me.

So I took off my rti8 grill and found a wrench stuck to the magnetic silk dome tweeter while it was playing.

Cant believe this. Dome is now dimpled.

Will this ruin my tweeter?

I currently have a Sony DVD/CD player combo DVP-NS575P(worth now like 30 dollars), 2 Polk Rti8s,polk sub, and a Harman kardon HK3480 receiver.

If I were to hook all that up except the dvd/cd...

So if the signal is analog between the xbox and receiver does the receiver make the quality of sound better then if I was just to use logitech speakers hooked up to a 360?

Wouldn't it be safer to run 6ohm speakers using an amps 4ohm setting?

If I were to use the 8ohm setting wouldnt the 6ohm speakers be overworking the amp?

I have a harman kardon hk3480 receiver. it says it can do 4ohms however there is no selector switch or anything to change the impedence. on the back it just says speaker 1 8ohm and speaker 2...

If you add an amp to a 2channel stereo receiver such as a harmon kardon 3480, do you mostly still hear the qualities of the hk or the new amp?

What mostly makes a stock receiver like the hk 3480...

but many budget amps prevent the possibility of bi wiring the lsi9s dont they?

I have a harmon kardon hk3480 and a pair of rti8's. My source is a Sony DVP-NS575P. If i were to upgrade the source to lets say a 2 or 300 dollar cd player, would I be getting a day and night...
