They sound terrible...........[/QUOTE]
hardcore is right.
not there, but thanks anyway
These are my Mini's, I've owned them since new - consecutive serial numbers and everything. The XO's and the surrounds have been refreshed so I should be able to expect another 30 years of enjoyment...
You know you want 'em. I'm 3 miles from downtown St Paul near Cherokee Park.
I'm affiliated. As the ad says, mine since new. The XOs have new Dayton caps tweets are original.
I know the feeling. I procrastinated on installing these, and thought I'd better get them in before winter set in up here in MN. Oh well.

Thank you... the 6.75 dimension threw me, but that also explains why I couldn't get it to fit. An installer said a 6.5" would fit in the spot, but no way this one would go.
Thanks a lot for the...
It looks like the MMC6500 but when I listed it on ebay the first question I got was that it isn't MMC6500. Dunno........
I wanted to list this component set but I can't find the correct part or model number. All it says is Polk MM6 6.5 Component System.
I bought it about a year ago. What is the proper way to...
He's been trying to sell those on CL since Sept 21. He started a little higher.
Darrell, is that you?
Hi, I have recently acquired a pair of 10B's for my future man cave. They'll be driven by a Yamaha CR-1020.
The speakers are pretty mint, except I hate the "medium oak" vinyl veneer, so I'm going...
My 5's have the Oak veneer. I bought them at a yard sale for $25. They are a "late model" 5.
Sound great, looks like ass. These will be my first veneer project.
I'd say there is something wrong with the 4s. They shouldn't make you cry.
list them on your local craigslist for $75. They'll be gone by the end of the day.
good thing they didn't ask you to perform brain surgery.
For an amp, I found that my Marantz 1060 worked great with Polk 7b's.
Unless there is a problem with your 2252b, don't bother with the caps just yet. As schwarcw stated, you can get a dang nice vintage marantz for $325 that's already recapped and serviced.
I'm not sure which came first, but my first two speaker purchases were Mini-Monitors and 7b's. I still have them. The MM's get daily use in the kitchen. The 7b's would be nice in my home office...
I see lots of Polk 5Jr's listed on ebay that have ports, here's a picture right from a recently completed auction here:
Well I think they could be 5jr's. Just for grins, call in to Polk CS with the speaks next to you. I'd bet they'd enjoy figuring it out.
Not all 5jr's have ports, mine don't.
