^ Sounds about right haha
EDIT: Opps never mind mine were Fxi3's, brain fart.
Dude that Zu Modern console looks cool as hell, for the price i'm sure you could get better sound but i'd definitely rock one.
Great review Mrbiron! I used to have a similar setup with Zu Omens, Peachtree and Mission cables and loved it. The Zu cables are definitely no slouch, and the Omens can be super picky with gear and...
^ +1, My ZU's were very forward speakers with most of the soundstage in front of them and yet I never considered them "bright."
Some SDA SRS 1.2tl's in Austin
In with 70, thanks!
How was it?
I use Spotify to listen to music, i've never heard SDA's, and my "2 channel" rig is used for crappy tv shows 90% of the time.
I might have some Canare 4s11 laying around, I don't know how much length but if it's enough i'll give it to you. How long does he need?
(Assuming you can't find anything better and want it.)
Got to spend my first Fathers Day listening to music holding my baby, about to fire up the grill and jump in the pool. I can get used to this! Hope everyone out there is having a great day too!
Congrats man, I bet those speakers just keep sounding better and better!
Haha they're even making fun of it on the Emotiva forum, that's insane.
Funny how things change, but I was right haha.
1) Martin Logan ESL
2) Zu Audio Omen
3) Klipsch RF82's
The other one i've been eyeing is the new Peachtree Nova 125se, it'd give about 160 watts into 6ohms and is in my price rage.
Interesting, i've ran across that one before and it could definitely be an option. I had reservations about class d amps with the Logans, but I love the sound from my SC-35 and I feel like they kind...
I also thought about a Nad 375bee w/Dac, shouldn't have any issues in the power department but i'm not sure how good it'll sound with them. I've also thought about the Parasound new classic separates...
I thought about it, i'm using the preamp outs for my sub currently. I've got about $700 to spend, and was going to try to sell the iNova for $800 and start fresh just to try something new. I really...
Yeah I knew that when I got them, however it really does sound great. Very warm laid back sounds pairs nicely and it doesn't seem to struggle a bit, but the ESLs are also a lot easier to drive than...
Yeah I really do like them a lot, I think I might sell the iNova and try something new. Honestly i'm 100% happy with its performance, I was shocked at how well it can drive these but I just have some...
I think i'm gonna end up keeping these after all, wife is going to have to learn to love them too haha.
Weekend bump to $1550
Man I have the exact same speakers and just got some MIT Avt 2's and they sound awesome with the ESL's. I started a thread a while back and had lots of good info and opinions on cables. For your...
I've never been a big Fallon fan but do watch the show occasionally and enjoy it. I also constantly see links in social media to different funny skits on his show (lip sync battle with Emma Stone was...
